About
Who We Are
Doesn’t our name say it all! Party With Purpose (PWP) is a 100% volunteer based, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization founded on the concept of producing great events to raise money for charities and bring the community together in the process.
How We Started
Following the attacks on 9-11, Scott Delea was inspired to make a difference in his own local community. Hoboken is known for its “work hard, play hard” lifestyle. But with a little organization we could “give hard” too! Beginning with the first event in December 2002, PWP was born to meet the needs of both local charities as well as a community looking to get involved. What We Do
We combine the best local social events with charitable causes to make a positive difference both here in our local community and abroad. To date, PWP has donated $425,000 and counting to help those in need through the generosity of volunteers, those attending events, and local sponsorships & donations. Learn more about the PWP Events that continue to improve the lives of people near and far.
Why We Do It
Because we are a community of people who know what it means to “work hard” and “play hard.” We have been fortunate in our lives and know it is important to give back. And why not have fun while we are at it! All proceeds raised go directly to a selected local charity or local office of a national charitable organization. Why I Joined PWP
I’ve always enjoyed volunteering my spare time for charity and I think it’s important to give back to your community if and when you can. I liked the fact it’s a local charity so it gives me the opportunity to see firsthand who we are helping and how we are improving the community. It’s also great because you meet other people in the community whether it is as volunteers or the people we are helping.
