NYC Mardi Gras Fundraiser for Hurricane Katrina Victims

Fundraiser for Hurricane Victims- Hoboken
When: September 6, 2005 PWP immediately sprung into action to raise money for victims of Hurricane Katrina. $7,000 has been raised or pledged in a matter of days. This event featured an open bar, music and auction at one of the hottest bars this side of the Hudson. back to top |

"Miles For Smiles" 5K race and
1 Mile Fun Run
Party With Purpose took it to the streets with our first 5 K race along the Hoboken waterfront. This amazing event had everything! After the 1 mile fun run, the kids were treated to a party just for them. Medals will be given to all race finishers. Kids from our sponsored charities and the Hoboken School system participated. The adults took center stage when the 5K kicked off at 7:00 pm. An awards ceremony and special happy hour followed at Trinity featuring free appetizers and drink specials. This event raised funds for two of Hoboken’s most important charities, the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club and Jubilee Center. Police Athletic League of NYC at Branch
When: February 6th, 2004 Party With Purpose conducted our first NYC event one week prior to Valentine’s Day. It was our biggest and best event yet, raising over $13,000 for locally based charities, including the Police Athletic League of NYC.

Hoboken Boys and Girls Club at 10th & Willow
When: September 19th, 2003 The Bar at 10th and Willow in Hoboken was the spot for one of the most highly anticipated events of the spring. Attendance approached 300 young professionals, including members of the community and representatives of the Hudson County Boys and Girls Club. The NY Times was on hand to snap some photos and interview guests. Over $6,000 was raised to benefit the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club.

American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life at O'Donoghues
When: May 2nd, 2003 Summer was kicked off with a bang during the PWP Summer Party held at O’Donoghues in Hoboken to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event taking place on the Hoboken Pier A on May 16th. Entertainment included a live band, dancing, pool and a live auction. Almost 250 attended and over $3,000 was raised.

Our first Event! Benefit for the Greater New
Jersey Chapter of Alzheimer's Association
When: December 13th, 2002 Looking to make a difference in our Post 9-11 world, 100 young professionals gathered at the Bar at 10th and Willow in Hoboken for our inaugural event. Over $1,000 was donated for the benefit of Alzheimer’s victims and their families. back to top |
